Eddie Tejeda Councilman, Redlands

Service: City Council Member since November 2016, representing District 2 since 2020. Mayor Pro Tem (2020–2022). Mayor (2022–2024). Supported public safety investments including property acquisition for a new police station and two fire stations and support for the K-9 Unit. Improved the animal shelter with climate-controlled kennels. Secured state traffic safety grant funding to improve roadway safety and established a Food Insecurity Taskforce with community stakeholders. Supported major community events and ongoing downtown revitalization efforts. Continued growth with new homes and businesses being added, investments in transitional homeless housing, and the transition to the new City Hall at 300 State Street including the remodel of the former Citi Bank building and construction of the City Hall plaza. Ongoing citywide infrastructure improvements including sidewalks, streets, and alleyways.
